Takata’s three global bases of operation in Asia (including Japan), Europe and North and South America are ISO9001:2000, ISO/TS16949-2002 and QS9000:1998 certified. This is only a first step in our quality assurance system, which extends from R&D and design to manufacturing and sales – a system dedicated to ongoing quality improvement.

Not only do we manufacture all fabric and metal and plastic components in-house, we are also involved in raw material development in our pursuit of higher quality. To further enhance our quality, and improve safety and reliability, we constantly experiment and gather data to provide feedback to our research, design and manufacturing centers around the world. Each process is subject to repeated evaluation and examination. Our state-of-the-art production facilities and equipment, and our computerized manufacturing control system, ensures stable production and allows us to meet a broad spectrum of needs while building quality into all of our on-site operations.
