Takata Corporation has changed its company name to TKJP Corporation as of June 21, 2018.

Auburn Hills, MI USA - April 11, 2018 - Key Safety Systems ("KSS"), a global leader in mobility safety headquartered in Michigan, USA, has successfully completed the acquisition of substantially all of Takata's global assets and operations free and clear of PSAN-related liabilities and certain other liabilities pursuant to cross-border bankruptcies in the United States and Japan as well as an ancillary proceeding in Canada.

At a meeting of Takata’s board of directors on June 26, 2017, agreement was reached to commence civil rehabilitation proceedings, with application being made to the Tokyo District Court on the same day.
Takata wishes to apologize to shareholders, creditors and others whose support the Company greatly values.
